1983 Mercedes-Benz 230CE Auto (W123)

No Reserve

Worthwhile project from three-year storage due to Covid restrictions; running and driving; lots of history; lots of miles!!

Top-quality W123 Coupe that has been off the road since 2019 due to Covid and a fuel pump relay failure. It has been in the hands of the registered keeper for the last 20 years during which time it has been well looked after....and well used.

The indicated mileage is a shade over 250,000 so yes, its been to the Moon and back, but the 25 entries in the service book and file of bills show it has been appreciated over the years.

It has had the pump relay bypassed with a feed from the cigarette lighter and the car is now back up and running, proceeding as it should and stopping too....having been off the road for three years, it could do with some recommissioning but is essentially all there and ready to use and improve.

The boot is full of good usable spare parts, the vendor intending to upgrade the car as time went by. It has a current V5C, service and instruction book, radio book, Haynes manual, two keys and two immobiliser fobs and 14 old MOTs, its most recent which expired in September 2019 showing no advisories.

Looking smart in its blue livery, it has the 2.3-litre fuel-injected engine which is both powerful and economical. If you ignore the mileage and take the car on face value, it looks like a sound proposition with plenty of life left in it...and is on offer at No Reserve so represents the ideal budget classic.
