1989 Smiths Milk Float
Exciting electric former Milk float with considerable potential for an Eco-minded conversion to other uses?
Dating from October 1989 this interesting old Milk Float was built by Smiths, formerly of Tyne and Wear and then Missouri, Kansas who became one of the world's leading manufacturer of electric vehicles.
The Float 'starts', runs and drives around and looks to have two huge banks of batterys, one each side with a charger. We also note fitment of a refrigerant unit on the back as well as twin cupboards on the rear.
Offering huge potential for conversion to a Zero Emmission vehicle that could literally 'do anything' whether at festivals, as a flower truck/ coffee cart etc etc its up to you to decide - just think, what would George Clarke from Channel 4's Amazing Spaces do with it? Something epic and fantastic for sure.
