Description
A very presentable MOD 2.4; smart inside and out; a usable example
which has seen much recent recommissioning; new tyres and
battery
Acquired by the vendor as a stalled restoration project,
this presentable MkII has seen some recent refurbishment which has resulted in
the smart example you see here.
The vendor refitted the doors and door
cards, tidied up the interior - a job which included attending to some of the
wood trim, carpets and leatherwork.
The brakes were stripped and checked,
new tyres fitted along with a fresh battery. The car soon fired up and was
presented for an MOT in August last year which it passed with no
advisories. A check of the MOT history online implies that it had been off the
road since 2011 and had been very lightly used prior to that date.
There
is sadly little other history with the car as it was purchased from a gentleman
with dementia and came with just a V5C, so it will be down to its next owner to
catalogue its adventures going forward.
