Ex Morgan Matchless engine; rebuilt in 2003 by Paul Smith Precision
Engineering and not used since
Purchased by the vendor as a spare in
2015, this engine has an invoice for £1,200 for the following
work:
Engine stripped, crank removed along with main bearings; New
journals fitted, hardened and ground to size; Flywheels bead blasted and rebored
as required; new crank nuts; new con rod thrust washers; broached flywheel
keyways; crank case sides bead blasted and checked true; new outer bearing and
rollers and bronze bush; new studs etc
It is reputed not to have been
used since this work was done.
