Showing c.92,000 miles; subject to a respray in the early 2000s; long
advisory-free MOT; driven 200 miles to the sale
Supplied new by Parkside Garage of Coventry to a Mrs Cox of
Kenilworth, this rubber bumper MG has had eight previous keepers, including
two from the same family, all detailed in a DVLA print-out on file. It is
showing 91,711 miles which seems correct based on the
paperwork on file.
A number of bills from
2011/2012 show evidence of a re-cored radiator and new ignition set, followed by
a significant service that included a replacement cylinder head, rocker shafts,
new exhaust system and a brake overhaul.
We
understand the original brown was changed to the current green in the early
2000s and although not perfect, it still looks the part, sitting on good tyres
and Minataur wheels.
We understand from the
vendor that it drove from Cumbria to Herefordshire for the auction and didn’t
develop any problems.
Although MOT-exempt and
free to tax, for peace of mind it does have a current MOT until September 2025
with no advisories and has recently had all fluids changed so it’s ready to
go.
