Four owners; 2.2
straight-six manual; convertible; showing just 73,778 miles with a lovely
specification; MOTd until July 2026
Originally supplied new by BMW
Chelsea in May 2002, this E46-generation BMW 3-Series is a 320Ci Cabriolet
finished in Titan Silver with a contrasting black Mohair hood and 17-inch alloy
wheels.
Power comes from the 2.2-litre
M54B22 six-cylinder petrol engine, producing 168bhp and 210Nm of torque, driving
the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
Inside, the cabin
is finished in black leather and equipped with electric seats (driver with
memory), a multi-function leather steering wheel, traction control, digital
climate control with air conditioning, on-board trip computer, front fog lights,
cruise control, electric windows and mirrors, an electric roof with heated glass
rear screen, and the original BMW radio/CD unit.
The car shows just
73,778 miles and presents well for its age, with a clean interior and tidy
exterior. The alloy wheels display some kerb marks that would benefit from
refurbishment, and the electric roof operates but requires a little assistance,
likely due to infrequent use.
Its history file includes the
V5C showing just three former keepers over 23 years, the owner’s pack and
service book with three earlier stamps, around 18 old MOT certificates, and the
current MOT valid until July 2026.
Ready to be enjoyed, this is a
low-mileage, low-owner example with a manual gearbox and smooth six-cylinder
engine—qualities that make the E46 one of the most admired generations of the
3-Series. It was driven over 40 miles to us without issue and has started and
run reliably while on site for photographs and video.
