Showing just 57,848 miles; current keeper
since August 2004; driven over 60 miles to the sale; V5C registration document
showing just three former keepers
Here we have a delightfully original 1972
Vauxhall Viva, finished in attractive light blue with a contrasting black
interior. A charming and increasingly scarce example of Vauxhall's popular
family saloon, Showing just 57,848 miles and has remained with its current
keeper since August 2004.
Powered by the dependable 1,256cc petrol
engine, the Viva proved its road-going credentials by being driven over 60 miles
to the sale. It started readily on the button for our photographer and
videographer and performed well on the journey, suggesting it remains a very
usable classic that can be enjoyed immediately.
First registered on 6th April 1972, the car
presents as a notably honest and unspoilt example, retaining the character and
simplicity that made these cars such a common sight on British roads during the
1970s. Finished in an appealing period colour combination, it offers an
increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a largely original
Viva.
Paperwork
includes the current V5C registration document showing just three former
keepers, with the current owner having enjoyed custody of the car since August
2004. Also included is an invoice for the refurbishment of the radiator carried
out in August 2025.
Showing 57,848 miles, driven over 60 miles to
the sale and starting readily for our pictures and video, this wonderfully
original Viva represents an increasingly hard-to-find opportunity to acquire a
genuine and honest example of Vauxhall's popular 1970s family
saloon.
