2003 Triumph Trophy 1200;
showing 12,476 miles; 3 keepers in total; will require attention to get
running
A well-established example of
Triumph’s large-capacity sports tourer, powered by the 1,188cc engine and
offering the blend of performance and touring comfort for which the Trophy range
is known.
First registered in January
2003, this example has had three keepers in total and displays 12,476 miles on
the speedometer, which is believed to be correct but cannot be
verified.
The motorcycle has been in
storage for over four years and has not run during this time. The vendor advises
that the engine turns over but that the bike will require attention to get it
running again. It is therefore offered as a recommissioning project, with
further work likely to be required before returning it to the
road.
Accompanying the bike are the
original handbook, six old MOT certificates and a small collection of invoices
detailing some of the work carried out over the
years.
