Brightwells to see over 200 classics come under the auctioneer’s hammer for the opening sale of the year on 4th March. By the end of the day 78% of entries had been sold for a total of over £1.5m with bidders from as far afield as Canada, Australia and the Arab Emirates.
February's auction saw a cracking trade & huge clearance rate for us down in Madley. Entries are now pouring in for our next sale on the 13th March...
A 12 bottle case of Chateau Lafite 1982 sold well above market expectations at Brightwells’ recent sale of Wine, Port, Champagne and Whisky. The sale took place at their Leominster Saleroom on 19th February.

Brightwells are pleased to report a large crowd to witness an excellent dispersal sale of the Greenyards Herd on behalf of Phil and Alison Allman. The herd was established in 2003 and has been a successful herd with some excellent bloodlines and families.

The final sport horse sale of 2019 at Addington Equestrian, saw an increase in sale turnover compared to last year and a good average price of £13,000. Out of 49 horses catalogued, 46 were offered on the evening of Tuesday 3rd December, with 60% finding new homes.
A full saleroom ensured a convivial mood; local collectors, merchants and restaurateurs were also joined by online bidders from Belgium, Denmark, Hong Kong and Italy.
With some 340 classic cars and motorcycles up for grabs, it was no wonder that there was such a huge turnout at Brightwells for the final sale of the year and the 10-acre site was packed to capacity and beyond by hordes of enthusiasts keen to bid on the enormous variety of machines on offer.
