2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
FQ300
'Out the box' 2-owner 6,867 mile UK market SST
transmission example from storage; Investment Alert!!
Dating from March 2011 this spanking later model Lancer Evolution X
comes to us in GSR FQ300 guise meaning 291bhp is squeezed from the 4B11T series
2.0 litre all-aluminium inline four-cylinder GEMA engine. This drives all-four
wheels via Mitsubishi’s superb S-AWC (super all-wheel control) all-wheel drive
system. Transmission in this
example is the six-speed twin-clutch Sportronic shift transmission (TC-SST)
which boasts magnesium-alloy shift paddles mounted behind the steering wheel
with multiple driving modes.
Finished in this
distinctive shade of light metallic blue the car rides on its original 12-spoke
high-rigidity 18” Enkei alloy
wheels shod in the original spec Yokohama 245/40 R18 tyres with stopping power
provided by Brembo ventilated discs and callipers.
Inside, we find figure hugging leather and Alcantara Recaro seats,
7” LCD screen for audio/navigation system and premium Rockford Fosgate audio
system with built in sub in the boot.
Showing
just 6,867 miles, the car is barely run in, and shows just two recorded owners
on the V5C having spent much of its life wrapped up in storage in a wonderfully
original and unmodified condition. Its right up the alley of any savvy
investor.
In addition, the history file
includes the service booklet revealing 8 service stamps plus PDI, all by
Mitsubishi Motors main dealers, the last in June 2021 at 6,856 miles.
Furthermore, the service book contains a further 3 stamps for body inspection in
2017, 2019 and 2021 plus five factory recalls detailed and stamped by Mitsubishi
Motors. We also find the current MOT valid until September 2022 recording no
advisories plus two old MOT certificates and a few invoices for main dealer
services including the most recent which cost £538.
Ready to be enjoyed, or carefully put way for future
investment – they simply don’t make them like this anymore, the Evo X being
the last in a long and illustrious legacy of the Evolution marque which came to
an end with the final Evo X in 2015.
Grab it while you can.
Documents: V5C; service book with 8 stamps
+ 3 + 5; invoies; 2 old MOTs; MOT Sept 2022 with no advisories
