Description
Pretty and sonorous 4.3 litre V8 Vantage Roadster with Sportshift
transmission showing just 41,500 miles; beautiful interior in Iron Ore Red with
silver stitching; good history file
Supplied new
in September 2007 by Grange Aston Martin of Welwyn, Hertfordshire and finished
in traditional, yet oh-so-sexy Tungsten Silver Metallic with Burgundy hood and
sat on its original seven-spoke 19inch alloy wheels this Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Roadster looks the bee’s knees.
Under the
sculpted bonnet, we find the 4.3 litre AJ37 V8 petrol engine which develops
380Bhp and 410NM of torque, driving the rear wheels via six-speed ‘Sportshift’
automated manual (automatic) transmission with paddle change should you so wish,
or full auto mode.
Inside the luxuriously
trimmed leather clad cabin in Iron Ore Red with contrasting Silver stitching,
Black Cherry carpets, Obsidian Black leather steering wheel, Gun Metal dash
facia, electrically operated heated seats with adj. lumbar, electric windows,
glass starter button, flip-up sat-nav, premium sound system, AC, traction
control, Comfort button, clock, cruise control and of course the electric
soft-top.
The car shows just 41,065 miles and
presents well, although we did note some typical moisture ingress after it was
cleaned into the head lights and the OS headlamp jet cover was missing as
pictured. The car looks to run
well, with this automated manual transmission a little jerky at low speeds until
its mastered with measured inputs typical of this era and type of
transmission.
The history file includes the V5C
recording six former keepers to the current of 22 months, the owner’s manual
with service section showing ten stamps, the last in September 2022 at 32,838
miles by Maundrell Performance Specialist of Letcombe Regis.
In addition, the file includes some 11 old MOTs plus the current
MOT valid until November 2024 recording just one minor advisory for inner edge
wear to the nearside rear tyre along with a selection of bills for
maintenance.
Maintenance bills of note include
annual invoices dating back to at last 2011 along with other bills for repairs
such as a replacement roof module in November 2015, recall information and a
purchase receipt dated Feb-22 for £42,995 at 27,308 miles.
A supremely sharp looking example in an appealing colour
combination and low mileage with a good service history file. Much to
like.
