Description
Super rad, super rare AMG saloon with the monstrous M113 5.4 V8
shoe-horned under the C-Class bonnet; JDM example showing just 43,526 miles;
mega example
Supplied new in April 2006 to
Japan, this W203 generation of Mercedes C-Class comes to us in rare and highly
desirable C55 AMG guise and is finished in Brilliant Silver with its discreet
boot lip spoiler and quad AMG exhausts poking out the tail end along with
attractive 18inch AMG alloy wheels and big AMG brakes sat behind the only
discreet clues as to what this car is.
Under
the bonnet, we find the massive 5.4-litre M113 AMG V8 engine shoe-horned into
the engine bay of what is usually the ‘regular, normal’
C-Class.
With this monster under the bonnet,
the car pumps out 362bhp and massive 510NM of torque driving the rear wheels via
five-speed AMG Speedshift automatic/tiptronic transmission with steering wheel
mounted buttons offering a zero-sixty mph dash of just 4.7
seconds.
Inside the plush and sporty cabin, we
find comfortable seating for four/five with perforated black AMG leather
interior with electric front seat adjustment, digital climate control with AC
and rear ventilation, touch-screen in-car entertainment with DAB,
navigation, cruise control, voice command, automatic headlights, heated front
seats, traction control, on-board computer, multi-function steering wheel,
headlight wash, electric windows, electric glass sunroof, electric mirrors and
AMG branded over mats.
This monster presents
beautifully, no surprise given it shows just 43,526 miles and was driven to the
sale. Given the car came from
Japan, much of the history is in Japanese although we can see the Km figures
within at 2,151km, 4,934km, 8,654km, 13,281km, 24,307km, 33,957km, 43,313km,
49,768km and 60,693km clearly recorded on the service sheets within the service
book.
Since import, and registration in the UK
in July 2020 the car has had two former owners including the importer with the
file also including the current V5C and two previous V5C (from plate changes),
couple of bills from Mercedes main dealers for a service in February 2022 and a
new battery in 2021, a purchase receipt from a Mercedes specialist for £14,750,
two old MOTs and current MOT valid until June 2023 recording no
advisories.
Ready to be enjoyed, its most
uncommon to find one of these rare beasts in such super, low mileage condition.
One for the enthusiast or collector and not to be missed.
