Nothing could say ‘1970’s motoring’ more than brown’n’beige’n’orange and, in this 1979 Reliant Scimitar we have the full set. And it works.

Little is known of the early history of this car although it does appear to have been in long-term ownership from 1997 until last year. There are some receipts from 2007 to last year, but these are for minor service items and it is thought the car was in storage from 2014 until earlier this year.

The overall condition of the car appears encouraging although the interior could benefit from slight refreshment. It has had some later digital guages fitted to the dash which don't feature in the accompanying handbook and it comes with an MOT to February 2021 with no advisory notices.
