1998 S141LPX MINI COOPER SPORTS LE

Cracking little special edition, 1 of 50 Mini in Brooklands Green; full dark green leather interior; walnut dash; big fat Minilites, front spots and stripes - everything you need!

Hard to believe this Mini Cooper Sports LE is 22 years old – only the number plate gives the game away. The car still looks as fresh and peppy as it did in 1998, helped by the smart green’n’white Cooper paintwork, the large flared arches and those wild neo-Minilite alloy wheels.

Inside, the car has the original dark green leather upholstery and green carpeting showing some signs of wear but nothing that a little tlc couldn’t freshen up.

It has been regularly serviced from new and there is quite a collection of paperwork including the handbook and service book - and sixteen past MOTs. The majority of attention has been routine, but in 2010 the car received two new A–panels, two new genuine Rover door skins, door steps and other attention costing over £800.

In 2012 the car received more remedial work including new genuine Rover front wings, front panel, boot lid and various other parts and attention costing a total of around £1,500. The following year the inner and outer sills were replaced, along with the door seals and screen rubbers and some minor parts adding a further £900 to the total spent over the years.

S141 LPX has a current MOT to September 2020 with no advisories.

This is a car that has had a series of enthusiastic owners who have always taken the car to professionals to have any work carried out. A very smart example of the last of the last of the line real Minis.
