1979 MWK552V FIAT X1/9 from THE GRAND TOUR

Richard Hammond's X1/9 from THE GRAND TOUR; included in the Grand Tour computer game; unique opportunity to own the most famous X1/9 in existence

We could rattle on about the stunning white leather interior, lurid purple paintwork or the smart alloy wheels but that would kinda be missing the point....

This is the actual car that starred on The Grand Tour's trip through Scotland driven by Richard Hammond and accompanied by Clarkson in his GTV and James May in his Gamma.....

If you don't believe us, check out the Youtube clip - here is your chance to relive the trip along the A345 in the same car.

A word of warning - there is a bit of work to do....the engine runs and it drives and stops - but it obviously has had a life and the engine smokes like a good-un. The gears all work though and the body, originaly Italian red looks pretty sound in most places - the purple paintwork less so.....

It had an MOT which expired in 2018, which showed no advisories and it has covered only a few miles since so how much work can it really need??

That is missing the point though. If you are looking for an X1/9 and are prepared to take on a project - then surely this is the only one to do.

It even features in The Grand Tour computer game....so while the car waits in the paint shop, you can still enjoy driving it.

Christened by Hammond 'the baby Ferrari', it even has his name on the key tag. There is no doubt that this is the real deal....
