1975 Triumph Stag
Project Stag which has been
running and driving recently; hard top; some new parts included; correct
3.0-litre V8; 66,000 miles from new
Purchased by the vendor
in 1995 as a project, it never quite got to the top of the pile. It spent
some time with a friend, returning to his ownership in 2015. He has had it
running and driving, it's last MOT dating from 2016 which showed no advisories
present. The indicated mileage reads an unsubstantiated 66,400 miles, a figure
which hasn't changed much for some years but is believed correct.
Prior
to delivery, the vendor took it out for a jaunt and the car lost its
forward gears. This issue has not been investigated, as it had always
been the plan to convert the car to a manual gearbox - the vendor having
sourced a parts car for this transplant (with a set of alloys). If the new
buyer is interested in going down this route, this car is included in the sale -
for collection from Tring by January 10th....
Complete with hard
top, it comes with a gasket set and new big end bearings and piston
rings on the back seat, this bright yellow Stag looks a relatively
straightforward project and excellent value at the suggested 'entry point into
Stag ownership' guide price.

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
- No bids can be placed once the time remaining ends, therefore do not delay.
