Ideal workhorse; offered
in a charming and useable state; a great platform to build upon or use as is;
driven to the sale
First
registered in Carmarthen in June 1967, this SIIa shows eight former keepers on
the logbook and 90,217 miles on the odometer.
Offered in a somewhat oily
rag state, the truck started instantly for these photos, the dependable 2.25
petrol four-cylinder engine moving it around with
ease.
While the only paperwork we
have is the logbook, our vendor says he has kept his Land Rover in regular local
use, covering just a few hundred miles each year in his ownership, and it was
driven to the sale from Tenbury.
A quick look through the MOT
history shows tests were an annual occurrence up until 2017 where the last took
place, this Series IIa covering just a couple of thousand miles
since.
Starting promptly, running and
driving nicely on site.
