First registered in February 1991, this Sierra Cosworth has
had just three owners from new and looks splendid after its 34th birthday in
XSC1903 Moonstone Blue with black leather interior.
It has covered
121,955 miles to date with no fewer than 21 stamps in the service books, the
last at 120,999 miles in December 2007. A notebook details some additional
maintenance over the years including a waxoil treatment and a new clutch and
flywheel in 2019 (see photos of service book). In storage from 2006 - 2018 and
very lightly used since then, it has an MOT until December 2025 with no
advisories recorded
The Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth was a
high-performance version of the Ford Sierra, it was designed as a four-door
sports saloon, offering blistering speed it was a favourite among touring car
racers, dominating Group A racing in the late 1980s and early
1990s.
Engine - 2.0L turbocharged Cosworth YBB/YBJ inline-four, producing
220 HP will all four wheels driven through a manual 5 speed gearbox.
