First registered
in September 1999, this smart BMW 328Ci Coupe has the creamy smooth 193bhp 2.8
straight-six mated to 5-speed automatic transmission which made it good for
0-60mph in 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 150mph.
It has had just four owners from new, the first keeping it for 16
years. It is showing only 66,400 miles which is believed correct although there
is no early history to warrant this.
There are a
fair few invoices from 2012 onwards by Tice Wimborne of Dorset for regular
upkeep and new parts fitted. These include a service in September 2012 at 29,490
miles; another in August 2013 at 29,870 miles and another in August 2015 at
30,855 miles.
Our vendor acquired the car via
Brightwells in August 2022 when it was showing just under 57k miles and she has
continued to look after it well, as shown by invoices on file which amount to
some £3,500. Work of note includes:

suspension arm and wheel alignment

health check and various new suspension bushes at 60,725 miles

new rear Brembo brake discs, pads and handbrake shoes
May 2024 – welding to floor pan to address MOT failure
point
Aug 2024 – new rear tyres
Other documentation includes an owner’s handbook; E46 brochure and
press photos from when the model was launched in 1997; 8 old MOTs; current MOT
valid until March 2026.
As you can see in the
photos, this low-mileage E46 is very clean and tidy for its age and has been
starting promptly and driving well as we have moved it around on
site.
On offer here at a very modest guide price,
it is only reluctantly for sale due to our vendor’s health issues which means
she can no longer drive.
