Rare 6 speed
manual gearbox; face lift model; £10,120 of optional equipment
fitted; with the current keeper for over 17
years
This is a rare example of a 2004
BMW X5 Sport D Facelift, specified with the desirable 6-speed manual
transmission.
The car has had only four owners from new, with the current
keeper retaining it since August 2007.
It is showing 145,830 miles and
was first registered in the UK on 30 December 2004. The X5 cost £45,185 when
new, with a further £10,120 of optional equipment fitted.
The options include Navigation GPS, electric front seats
with driver memory, a panorama glass roof, detachable-ball-joint towbar, TV and
teletext functionality, Bi-Xenon headlights, Bluetooth telephone preparation,
sports seats, sun protection glass, BMW 6-disc CD autochanger, adaptive
headlights, rear side airbags, anthracite headlining, auto-dimming and folding
door mirrors, rear air conditioning, on-board monitor with TV, sports
suspension, colour-coded door handles, a sports multi-function steering wheel,
graduated tinted windscreen and light poplar wood trim.
This is an increasingly uncommon manual-gearbox X5 and comes MOTd
until March 2026. It carries nine service stamps up to 2015 at 99,465 miles, and
since then has received yearly oil changes by the vendor.
Some rust is
visible on the tailgate and passenger front door, as shown in the images. The
dashboard displays the 4x4 light and tyre-pressure light, believed to be related
to recently fitted tyres, also please beware the sunroof does not close when
opened.
The car starts, runs and drives on site and arrived after a
fault-free 30-mile journey, although a slight clunk has occasionally been heard
from the rear under acceleration. It does not seem to affect drivability but may
warrant investigation in future
