Westminster Green; black upholstery; 1600cc
petrol engine coupled to a manual gearbox; 40,969 Miles; Canada then UK
registered
A charming early example of the
ever-popular Morgan 4/4, this 1969
2-Seater was originally supplied to
Allon White & Son Ltd in April of that year before being exported to
Ontario, Canada, where it spent much of its life. More recently returned to
these shores and UK-registered in 2026, it now presents
as a very appealing home-market-specification car finished in
classic Westminster Green with black upholstery.
Fitted with the desirable options — wire
wheels, disc brakes, heater, screen washer, rear bumper, and lap-and-diagonal belts — it retains the simple, purposeful
charm that has long made the 4/4 such an engaging driver’s car. Powered by the familiar
1600cc petrol engine mated to a manual gearbox, this example has shown only
40,969 miles, and has been starting sweetly while on site for the accompanying
videos and images.
The history file is a pleasingly comprehensive
one, including the original owner’s manual, parts manual, period sales
literature, and a healthy bundle of service and repair invoices, reflecting
careful long-term stewardship. The
car’s time in Canada appears to have
been gentle, and its return to the UK has allowed it to be enjoyed once again in
the environment for which it was originally intended.
A well-specified, well-documented and nicely presented 4/4
from a particularly attractive era of Morgan production — ready for continued enjoyment and
offering all the charm and character that define the
marque.
