Greeves Ranger; original Villiers 34A;
US-spec steel tank, UK-registered; showing only 2,263
miles
This
1968 Greeves Ranger is presented in blue and is fitted with its original
Villiers 34A 246cc engine. A trail-orientated development of the
Anglian trials model, the Ranger is immediately recognisable by the steel fuel
tank adopted for the 1968 season to satisfy new US safety
requirements.
Imported back to the UK and registered here in
2021, the machine is now fully assembled and in regular use. It was ridden to
the sale and starts readily.
Documentation includes the current V5C showing
just one former keeper, the NOVA clearance certificate, and a dating certificate
issued by the Greeves Riders Association.
A very tidy and usable example of the late
’60s Ranger, retaining its correct
engine, distinctive period features and showing only 2,263
miles.
