c1951 Land Rover Series I
86”
Good solid Series I with recent care and
attention
The current owner has had this nice looking, gently
patinated Series I for the past 5 years.
Sadly it didn’t come with any
history, so we are in the dark as to its past, but it has certainly had
one.
The more observant will have noticed the three cleats along the rear
tub which spells out its 86” wheelbase as well as the two-litre engine which is
somewhat at odds with its 1951 chassis number and V5c dating.
Taken it on
its merits however, it has been running and driving around on site and has
clearly been loved and cared for.
It sports a smart recent tilt and has
rear seats for the trip to the pub with the family. We also notice it has a new
spare tyre mounted on the bonnet.
If you are after a nice usable Series
I within a sensible price range – this one is well worth close
inspection.
