2006 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible
Rare and potent
low owner 247bhp 2.8 V6 turbo version with manual 6-speed 'box; attractive spec
in a super colour scheme
Supplied new by Camden Corporate Fleet
Service of Wapping London in April 2006 this powerful convertible has had
just three owners from new, the previous from April 2007 until
February this year.
Finished in Fusion Blue with two-tone parchment
and black interior it still looks striking sitting on its attractive five-spoke
original alloy wheels which remain in good condition - testatment to its careful
ownership history.
The vendor has treated the car to a new battery and a
professional valet to the hood. It was driven some 100 miles to the sale and we
are advised that everything works a treat, including the air
conditioning.
This example of the 9-3 range features the range-topping
Aero spec with a powerful 2.8-litre turbocharged V6 engine driving the front
wheels through 6-speed manual transmission and develops a whopping 247bhp - more
than enough to blow away those Covid-cobwebs of weeks sat idle!
The
interior features an array of gadgetry with navigation, electric folding
soft-top, powerful sound system, night mode etc etc.
Showing a
modest 112,560 miles the car looks very sharp and comes with a stamped
service book showing some 8 stamps, the last at 79,444 miles in March
2016. In addition to this, the book pack and V5, there is also a service
history print-out from MARS dating from August 2016 at 83,732 miles to the most
recent lube service + pollen and fuel filter in November 2020 at 111,891 miles.
Its MOT is clean and valid until November 2021, the car having covered just 669
miles since its service last year.
These are rare and very capable
fast cars and considering they aren't making them anymore, looks
like a prime opportunity to bag one!
