1974 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Convertible
No
Reserve
Genuine Karmann; great project that runs and drives;
new hood cover; well worth time and effort
This 1974 Convertible
arrived on British shores in 1987 according to the V5C, since when it has had
three registered keepers. There are signs of regular servicing post 1999 until
around 2015, with hand-written notes on file and invoices, its previous lady
owner keeping the car for 20 years.
It had a new hood in 2011 which is
servicable but could really do with replacement and as can be seen, the car
needs cosmetic attention with areas of rust showing as seen in the photos. It
comes with a brand new hood cover with fittings that has never been
used.
The car starts straight away and we have been running and driving
it onsite for the photos. The vendor didn't, but said he would have
been quite happy to drive it the 100+ miles to the sale, although it hasn't
used for a few years now so it could do with some recommissioning work prior to
regular use.
There are eighteen old MOTs, its most recent expring
in 2015.
With values of these charismatic and fun Beetles on the rise of
late, this project car looks enticing, especially as it is on offer at No
Reserve so the best bid on the day buys the car.

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
- No bids can be placed once the time remaining ends, therefore do not delay.
