German supplied Euro spec left-hand drive non-sunroof, manual transmission C2 from 18 year ownership showing 143,564Km (89,195 miles)

Supplied new by Dr. Ing h.c.F Porsche of Stuttgart in March 1992 this rather smart 964 generation 911 is in desirable Carrera 2 (solely rear-wheel drive) guise with 5-speed manual transmission and is finished in Polar Silver with contrasting blue leather interior.

Sitting on its period-correct Cup I alloy wheels, the car looks wonderfully unmolested and correct, a rare sight given so many have been modified. Inside, we find a simple spec, in fact, the under bonnet option sticker (also in the service book) shows only 1 code – C00 – revealing the car to be a German market car, although the car features 4-way electric seat adjustment and blue leather seat facings. Unusually for a 964, the car features neither specced with A/C or sunroof, however, it looks as though the car has been retro-fitted with A/C with an unusually sited button by the rear spoiler control (usually located on the climate control unit itself) and non-OEM A/C pump in the engine bay.

The car shows 143,546Km (89,195 miles) and looks to be in rather nice order having been with our owner since UK import and registration in 2003, he being the sole UK owner bringing the car in from Belgium following purchase there in May 2003 as documented.

Within the history file, we find the UK V5C, owner’s manual and service book revealing 11 stamps, the last in September 2019 at 143,146Km, prior to that, the last was in 2009 at 142,513Km showing the car to have seen little use during the intervening 10 years. Furthermore, we find Foreign registration documentation, purchase invoice, sundry bills including a recent £573 spent on a new fuel pump and crank position sensor repair and at least 7 old MOTs with the current MOT valid until April 2022 with no advisories recorded.

With the values of air-cooled 911’s rocketing this looks like a smart, lower mileage example with a good, simple spec from long term ownership – a smart money investment opportunity we feel.
