Fast and sure-footed with all-wheel drive turbocharged 227bhp 2.5
Boxer; desirable SL spec inc. heated black leather seats showing
86k
Supplied in April 2007 by Subaru IM
Distribution centre, West Bromwich, this tidy Subaru Impreza WRX comes to us in
Ice Blue Pearl and sits upon its original 17” light alloy wheels shod with
Goodyear eagle F1 tyres. It has sporty red brake callipers, discreet rear
spoiler and a cheeky Prodrive exhaust tip poking out from the rear releasing
some of that lovely Boxer engine warble.
Under
the bonnet of this 3rd Generation ‘Hawk Eye’ WRX, sits the 2.5-litre
EJ255 four-cylinder Boxer engine with single TD04 turbocharger which develops
227bhp and 320NM of torque driving all-four wheels via five speed manual
transmission offering enough performance and excitement for most buyers with
0-60mph achievable in 5.7 seconds.
Inside this
SL specification car, we find charcoal leather, two-stage heated seats, electric
glass sunroof, Xenon headlights with cleaning, electric mirrors, aluminium
pedals, original radio/CD player, air conditioning, WRX tailored mats and
factory Thatcham 1 alarm system.
Uncommonly,
this pretty example looks to be entirely standard (bar the optional Prodrive
exhaust tip). The car shows just 86,500
miles which looks to be correct judging by the MOT history online. The history
file includes the V5C revealing five former keepers, the service book showing
seven stamps (the last in 2019 by Brooklyn Garage, Malvern including timing
belt) and two keys.
The current MOT is valid
until April 2024 and recorded just one advisory which bodes well for the
lucky new owner.  With values of
these Hawk Eye variants rising, good, unmolested examples are hard to come by
and are being snapped up by enthusiasts and investors alike.
