Being offered from a deceased estate; owned for the last 15 years;
will need some re-commissioning
This Series I will need a new
V5C applied for as unfortunately all paperwork and history has been
mislaid.
It appears to have been registered to
FO8628 in 2004 and has only had four previous keepers since then
according to HPI. It does show to have been with the current owner though for
the last 15 years.
The MOT database online shows
it being put through tests between 2006 and 2013 and it appears to have last
been on the road in 2014 according to the tax disc. Only indicating 26,482 miles
on the speedo, although the 2,500cc petrol engine is not original to the chassis
and nor is the LT77 (possibly) gearbox.
The owner
worked for a Land Rover specialist for some time, so we imagine it has been
restored up at one point from a rolling project.
Being offered here as a non runner, although the engine certainly
turns and after all, it is a Land Rover – it shouldn’t take too much to get
going!
