Classic
combination of Epson green with Ivory leather; 4.4L V8 Vogue
Specification
The
2002 L322 Range Rover 4.4 V8 Petrol marked a bold leap in luxury SUV design.
Developed under BMW ownership, it featured a 4.4-litre M62 V8 engine delivering
smooth power and refined performance. Its monocoque chassis and independent air
suspension offered exceptional ride comfort and off-road capability. The
interior showcased high-end materials, digital displays, and advanced
electronics for its time. With its imposing stance, clean lines, and modern
engineering, the L322 redefined Range Rover’s image. Though complex to maintain,
it remains a favourite among enthusiasts for its blend of prestige, power, and
pioneering technology in the luxury 4x4 segment.
Seen
here in the classic colours of Epsom green with ivory leather interior and
featuring clear glass. This example was first registered in September 2002 and
showing as only two former keepers with the current MOT certificate valid
till May 2026. The service history includes 12
years maintenance and
history invoices, all from the same garage, provided by the previous
owner.
Prior
to the vendors ownership, the suspension bushes had been replaced along
with four new Pirelli scorpion tyresa and the wheels were refurbished
at the same time. A new sunroof fitted, and the sunroof drains cleared, new
aircon compressor and the paintwork was resprayed in the original colour. A new
aircon condenser was fitted and aircon leaks fixed, rocker cover gaskets and new
brake discs and pads replaced in 2021.
The vendor reports that the
aircon, sunroof, windows and the heated steering wheel are all
working.
Please note: In the
interest of transparency, the vendor reports that there are some items on the to
do list, it’s a Land Rover after all!
His local garage has advised
of multiple oil leaks coupled with an un-diagnosed seemingly small rattle
on cold start, possibly an exhaust catalyst rattle, torque converter and/or
timing chain, bearings, other engine internals or possibly all of the above! We
have tried to capture this noise on the video recording, it’s only when started
from cold, so please listen to the video carefully.
Other notes mention that the
rear differential is worn and the rear subframe is showing signs of corrosion
and a rear subframe bush split.
The amplifier may need repair
or replacement, the digital part of the dashboard display is pixilated and, the
full beam seems not to work all the time, but dipped beam
does.
A
fantastic entry into the world of Range Rover Vogue
luxury.
