1995 Mini Cooper Monte Carlo is a rare and desirable special edition that
celebrates the Mini’s iconic success at the Monte Carlo Rally during the 1960s.
With just 84,597 miles on the odometer and a current MOT valid until January
2026, this car offers both collectible appeal and everyday
usability.
The Monte Carlo edition was produced
in a limited run of just 1,200 units worldwide. Only 200 of these were allocated
to the UK market, with 140 finished in Flame Red and 60 in black. The remaining
1,000 were sent to Japan. This example, finished in black, is one of those rare
UK-market cars, making it an excellent opportunity for collectors and
enthusiasts alike.
Under the bonnet is a 1,275cc
fuel-injected A-series engine producing around 63 horsepower, paired with a
4-speed manual gearbox. The Monte Carlo stands out visually with its unique
decals, John Cooper signature graphics, body-coloured wheel arches,
Minilite-style alloy wheels, and four front-mounted rally-style auxiliary
lamps.
Inside, the special edition treatment
continues with a red and cream interior featuring red leather-accented seats
with cream cloth centres, red carpets, a red leather steering wheel, and a
high-gloss burr walnut dashboard that adds a touch of traditional British

Very little history is available with the
car, but this car has not been subjected to any customisation and is in original
condition. Welding work has been undertaken at some point in the cars life in
the boot and other areas and the car would benefit from a service and a
polish in the near future.
