The Microcar MC1 SEI, produced
between 2005 and 2008, is a compact French-built two-seater microcar with a
3-door hatchback design and a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. It is
powered by a 505cc two-cylinder petrol engine,
producing 21bhp at 3,000 rpm and
20Nm of torque at
1,600 rpm, giving it a top speed of around 30mph and 65mpg
economy.
The MC1 was
available in both 2-seat and 4-seat versions, with the longer wheelbase on the
4-seat model providing extra interior space. Measuring 3130 mm in length,
1495 mm in width, 1440 mm in height,
with a wheelbase of 2080 mm, it weighs
only 350 kg (772 lb), making it
lightweight and easy to maneuver in urban environments.
This example has had six owners in total, was first registered in
July 2008, and is MOTd until October 2026. Showing only 18,646 miles,
it has been running and driving for photos on-site and was driven
over 40 miles to the sale.
