The
1999 Jaguar S-Type V6 Auto Petrol marked the revival of Jaguar’s mid-size luxury
saloon, blending retro styling with modern engineering. Powered by a 3.0-litre
V6 engine sourced from Ford’s Duratec family, it produced around 240 bhp and
delivered smooth, refined performance through a 5-speed automatic
gearbox.
The S-Type featured rear-wheel drive, a well-appointed interior,
and advanced features for its time. Its distinctive design echoed the classic
Mk2 Jaguar, appealing to traditionalists and luxury buyers alike.
This
example with only 68,436 miles was first registered in May 1999 and showing as
only one previous keeper on the current V5C and has been with the current keeper
since 2021.
The paperwork includes the original sales invoice for
£31,270, a stamped service book as pictured, comprehensive array of service
invoices - the last being at 67,350 miles in March 2025, with the current MOT
certificate valid till March 2026.
We don’t normally accept these into
the sale but due to the outstanding condition of this example with its low
mileage and great history, exceptions were made!
Two keys with remotes
are included alongside the original book pack with all the security codes, the
original dealer handover video and the locking wheel nut key.
Driven over
120 miles to the sale and has been running well for the video and
pictures.
