The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is a
lightweight (152 Kgs) urban scrambler blending minimalist Scandinavian design
with KTM-derived engineering. Powered by a lively 373cc single-cylinder DOHC engine producing 43bhp.
Being A2 licence
compliant, it offers agile handling, WP suspension, and ABS brakes, making it
ideal for city streets and light trails. Built in Mattighofen, Austria,
alongside KTM’s
390 Duke on which it is based, the Svartpilen 401 combines rugged styling with
everyday usability. With its upright stance, distinctive bodywork, and modern
performance, this example represents a fashionable and practical entry into
Husqvarna’s reborn street motorcycle range.
This
example was first registered in January 2020 with one owner from new and has
covered only 8,091 miles. Being from the early phase of production this machine
features the through chassis exhaust design giving better ground clearance and
was produced in the Austria factory before later production was moved to
India.
With a great specification including WP
suspension, illuminated controls, spoked alloy wheels, billet alloy footpegs and
LED lighting all round.
The paperwork includes
the current V5C, the owner’s manual, service book with three stamps, three MOT
certificates with the current valid till May 2026. In addition to this the
vendor has carried out additional oil changes, the last only
100 miles ago
when a new chain and sprocket were also fitted.
Some spares as pictured are included, mirrors, rear grab rail, foot
pegs and a genuine headlight guard.
