Tuned and
ported 1.8-litre Ford Zetec Silver Top engine paired with a five-speed manual
transmission; enhanced by Jenvey throttle bodies; producing an impressive
180bhp; MOT until 22 April 2026
This highly
desirable 2001 Westfield SEiW 1800, is an ex-demonstrator and factory-built
example that represents one of the finest specifications available.
First
registered in May 2001, this car has had five former keepers and has been in the
current ownership since November 2024.
Finished
in striking red, the car is powered by a tuned and ported 1.8-litre Ford Zetec
Silver Top engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Producing an
impressive 180bhp, performance is enhanced by Jenvey throttle bodies, with
accompanying dyno sheets supplied to verify the output. The driving experience
is exactly as you would expect from a lightweight, performance-focused
Westfield.
The odometer shows just 18,668 miles,
but please note that there is an incorrect mileage entry recorded on a previous
MOT due to tester error, which is acknowledged and documented. The car is
MOT-tested until 22 April 2026.
As a former
factory demonstrator, this Westfield benefits from an exceptional provenance. It
comes with extensive service history and a collection of official Westfield
brochures in which the car itself was featured. It was also used as a focal
point in several “Men and Motors” television features showcasing the Westfield
brand, adding further appeal and collectability.
Despite its low mileage, the car has been properly enjoyed, including
a continental trip to Belgium in May 2025, demonstrating its reliability and
road-ready nature. Factory-built and ex-demo Westfields are increasingly sought
after, and this example stands out as a well-documented, correctly specified car
with genuine history and presence.
A rare
opportunity to acquire a proven, highly original Westfield with strong
performance credentials and excellent long-term appeal.
Please be aware
the private number is not included in the sale and we are yet to receive the new
