Exceptionally rare fibreglass hardtop included; odometer displays
104,140 miles; white Weller-style wheels, wheel arch
extensions
First registered in March 1988,
this Suzuki SJ413 JX Samurai is a pleasingly original example of the iconic
lightweight 4x4, offered in standard, unmodified specification. Finished in
attractive metallic turquoise with a blue-grey cloth interior, it is
complemented by white Weller-style wheels, wheel arch extensions and an
exceptionally rare fibreglass hardtop, giving it an appealing period appearance
while retaining its factory character.
Powered by
Suzuki's lively and dependable 1,324cc petrol engine paired with a manual
gearbox and selectable four-wheel drive, the SJ413 earned a reputation for its
rugged simplicity, impressive off-road capability and compact dimensions. Today
these charismatic little 4x4s have developed a strong following among
enthusiasts, with unmolested examples becoming increasingly difficult to
find.
The current owner has cared for the vehicle
since November 2025. The odometer displays 104,140 miles, a figure that appears
consistent with the available MOT history. While the accompanying service
history has unfortunately been misplaced over the years, the Suzuki started
readily, drove well and performed exactly as expected during its time on site
for photography and the accompanying walkaround video.
