1985, this Land Rover is now fitted with a 3.5 petrol V8 rather than its
original 2.5 diesel engine. Coming with advisory-free MOT until January 2026, a
look online does show a mileage discrepancy so we advise bidders to check this
out for themselves.
We are told that it has
recently undergone a substantial restoration that included a new galvanised
chassis, various new body panels, new brakes all round, new suspension, rebuilt
axles as well as having every fluid and serviceable item
changed/serviced.
While we do not have any
invoices to substantiate this work, the results are plain to see and our
vendor will endeavour to locate the restoration bills prior to the sale (no
promises).
With all the hard work done,
this Land Rover looks the dog's whatsits but there is still scope
for cosmetic improvement here and there if you want to take this
capable and beefy V8 to the next level.
