The vendor has also supplied the following
information, much of it backed up by receipts:
Recorded maintenance work includes changing transfer box ratio
converted to Discovery 1 specification, which is slightly higher and allows an
easy 70mph gait on the motorway.
A
larger intercooler has also been fitted, as well as an upgraded cooling
fan.
The EGR and cat have been deleted
and a Rebel steering guard and a Chunky Monkey front and rear differential cover
have been fitted for underbody protection.
Snorkel cowl panel fitted and receipt for wading
kit.
The interior has also been
nicely updated with a few key extra features including an auxiliary binnacle
mounted on top of the dashboard that provides a home for a row of three switches
plus instruments to monitor the turbocharger boost and time. A VDO rev counter
has also been neatly fitted in the dashboard.
A centre console around the gear levers provides space for a
couple of cups, as does the useful cubbybox that sits between the front
seats.
Full rear racking system
including full height dog guard.
Alarm
and immobiliser fitted.
Recent new
set of BF Goodrich tyres, including spare, new track rod ends, some new brake
pipes, new brake caliper and some suspension bushes to address MOT
advisories.
MOT valid until September 2025
with no advisories recorded.
As you can see in
the photos, this tasty looking Defender has lots of useful upgrades and
accessories which make it really stand out from the crowd. In good condition for
its age/mileage, it has been starting promptly and running well on
site.
