Styling of the iconic
Jaguar SS100; 8,700 miles from the build; extensive history folder showing all
the new and reconditioned parts that went into making this car one of the best
examples on sale today
Professionally built between
1992-1999 this Carisma Century, a recreation of the much-loved Jaguar SS100 was
based on a reliable and well-proven Ford Cortina Mk5 with a 2,000cc pinto
engine.
In impressive condition and
showing only 8,700 miles since build the vendor has spoken with original builder
who claims all mechanical parts, engine, gearbox, clutch, brakes, shock
absorbers, springs, carburettor, alternator, starter motor, were all bought new
or reconditioned at time of build. This is all confirmed in the large history
folder of receipts and assembly manual included in the
sale.
The car also benefits from the
lovely dateless number plate 803 AKO, which is included in the sale of the car
and with no road-tax costs and being MOT exempt, this car gives the classic
Jaguar look with very low running costs.
Regrettably the vendor is
selling the car due to medical reasons and wants to give the opportunity to
someone else to enjoy this beautiful car.
