Advisory
free MOT; 300TDi 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine; only three former keepers
The Defender 90 TDi of the mid-1990s is widely regarded as the sweet spot of Land Rover’s
legendary off-road line. Powered by the robust 300TDi 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine, it offered improved reliability, torque and economy
over earlier models, while retaining the rugged simplicity that made the
Defender famous.
This 1994 example combines short-wheelbase agility with go-anywhere ability, equally at home tackling muddy tracks, farm duties
or classic car shows. With its utilitarian charm, distinctive boxy styling and
cult following, the 90 TDi remains one of the most desirable Defenders –
practical, tough and increasingly collectible.
First registered in June 1998 and the current advisory free MOT
certificate is valid till October 2026.
The
paperwork includes 22 old MOTs, 13 service stamps and invoices from 2001 for
repairs and services.
Recent works include two
tubular outriggers, rear right shock absorber, front shock absorbers, front prop
shaft joint, fuel tank filler pipe, front brakes hoses, top mounts and
bushes.
Has a great specification including a
snorkel, bull bar, side steps, cubby tray, sunroof and
towbar.
Driven to the sale and has been running
and driving on site.
