This 1979 MGB Roadster
presents an appealing opportunity for any classic car enthusiast. Finished in
black with a matching black leatherette interior and complemented by a wooden
steering wheel, it offers a timeless look that suits the iconic lines of the
MGB.
The current keeper has owned the car since
December 2009, contributing to a long period of stable ownership. The car shows
114,000 miles, although this figure cannot be verified.
First registered in May 1979, it comes with a hardtop, and the
soft-top frame and canvas are still in good condition. They only need to be
refitted if required, and both these parts, along with a tonneau cover, are
stored in the boot.
Powered by a 1798cc engine,
the car drove over 25 miles to the sale without issue and has continued to start
and run reliably while on site for photographs and video.
It sits on a set of polished Wolfrace-style wheels that enhance its
classic sporting appearance together with a stainless steel exhaust. The MOT is
