Introduced in 2010, the X351-generation Jaguar XJ represented a bold
new direction for Jaguar's flagship saloon. Designed by Ian Callum and built
around a lightweight aluminium structure, it combined striking contemporary
styling with impressive refinement and performance. The Portfolio specification
sat at the top of the luxury range, offering a high level of performance,
comfort and equipment.
Presented in rather rare
‘Caviar Metallic’, this particular example has had a mere four former keepers
including our vendor and is displaying just 86,914 miles.
Reassuringly, the car is accompanied by an impressive 13 service
stamps from new, the last being just over 800 miles ago with nearly all of them
being from marque specialists or Jaguar themselves. The vehicle also has a valid
MOT until the end of November this year.
Being
the desirable Portfolio trim, the car retains all the equipment one would expect
from a flagship Jaguar saloon, including soft-grain leather upholstery, sliding
twin sunroofs, premium sound system, and four zone climate control to name just
a few.
The interior presents well, while the
Caviar Metallic paintwork retains an impressive depth of colour and shine. Aside
from the minor age-related marks photographed, which do little to detract from
its overall appearance, the car presents in notably good
order.
The vehicle also appears to have been
fitted with a recent set of premium Continental tyres all round, further
suggesting attentive ownership and conscientious
maintenance.
Driven to the sale and running and
driving well on site, this well-specified Jaguar represents excellent value for
money. Widely regarded as one of the most engaging luxury saloons of its era,
the XJ combines Jaguar's sporting DNA with exceptional comfort and refinement,
making it a superb daily driver and an enjoyable car to own.
