Description
Appears to
be family owned from new; quintessential British roadster; 1,250cc engine; four
speed manual gearbox
The TF was essentially
a facelift of the TD, created to keep sales alive while MG developed the all-new
MGA.
A quintessential British roadster that marked the end of the MG
T-series era featuring a 1,250cc engine mated to a four speed manual gearbox
with rack-and-pinion steering.
First registered in May 1954
and the current old-style logbook V5 issued in 1985 states no former
keepers.
The history file includes
invoices for parts and repairs from the 90s with well-documented correspondence
with Naylor Brothers the MG restoration specialist and two old MOT certificates
(1974 & 1976).
The paperwork also includes a
parts catalogue and magazine articles.
One owner car, yes one family
in over 71 years!
Will need some recommissioning before any use on the
road.
