Rare Canadian Ford F15
Lorry: Ford V8 side-valve engine has been replaced by a diesel engine; first
registered August 1947
Presented here is a Canadian
Military Pattern (CMP) rare F15 vehicle originally built to British wartime
specifications. Finished in period-correct military green this historic military
vehicle represents an excellent opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts of
wartime transport.
Looks to have been powered
originally by a Ford 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine and at some point converted to a
diesel engine, this right-hand-drive example has had 5 former keepers and has
been in the current ownership since May 2016. First registered in August 1947
and recorded as brown on the HPI system, the vehicle was starting, running, and
driving on site during the preparation of photos and
videos.
Please note that the V5C
registration document has been misplaced, and the successful purchaser will need
to apply for a replacement. A fascinating piece of military history with immense
display and preservation appeal.
