Currently owned for the

summer
This distinctive 1947 Triumph
Roadster, one of Triumph's first post-war designs following the company's
takeover by the Standard Motor Company. Powered by a 1,776cc engine, this
charming British classic has had just three former keepers and has remained in
the current ownership since February 2014, being enjoyed on days out and at
various classic car events.
Originally finished in green,
the car was repainted black in August 1988, a colour that complements the
Roadster's elegant styling. The interior features oxblood hide upholstery with
matching door panels, red carpeting extending through to the floor of the
distinctive dickie seats, and a beautifully presented wooden dashboard, all
contributing to its period charm.
Accompanying the vehicle are
three previous MOT certificates, the original instruction manual, handbook, and
a selection of invoices documenting work carried out over the years. The car was
observed driving, starting, and stopping as expected while on site for
photographs and a short video presentation.
First registered in
June 1947, this Triumph Roadster represents an excellent opportunity to acquire
a rare and characterful post-war British classic with long-term ownership and
enjoyable provenance.
