1935 Standard 12 Deluxe, first
registered in November 1935 and powered by a 1,479cc engine. The car has had 11
former keepers and has been in current ownership since December 2023. Finished
in Blue and Cream, having been changed from its original Blue/Black colour
scheme in March 1998.
A well-maintained and usable
pre-war classic, this Standard has taken part in the 100 Miles Rally in Bruges
and various VSCC events, including completing the drive from Churchstoke to
Bruges and back without issue. Recent work completed in March 2026 includes a
new/reconditioned water pump, refurbished exchange carburettor through the
Standard Owners Club scheme, and the fitting of an electronic distributor.
Additional upgrades include 12-volt electrics, a Dynamator, and classic-style
LED bulbs.
The car benefits from
a smart interior with good carpets and headlining, an effective heater,
good oil pressure, and good brakes. It is accompanied by an extensive history
file, including photographs documenting an earlier restoration. Additional

of space.
