1977 MGB GT, first registered
in the UK in October 1977 and powered by the 1,798cc engine. Finished in
Brooklands Green with distinctive 1970s 'deck chair' upholstery, this
well-presented example has had seven former keepers and has been cherished by
its current owner since January 2008.

the car has recently benefited from a recommissioning service costing over
£1,100 and comes with a 12-month advisory-free MOT. The extensive history file
includes the original Leyland Cars Supercover handbook pack, MG Passport showing
supplying dealer Kennings Ltd of Southend, maintenance invoices dating from the
1970s to the present day, MOT certificates from 1981-2004, 2006-2009 and 2015,
plus a Haynes workshop manual.
The car benefits from an Ivor
Searle replacement engine fitted with an unleaded cylinder head at 78,050 miles,
Ziebart rust protection, a stainless steel exhaust system and fully functioning
overdrive. A strong, unmolested example of this iconic British classic, it was
observed starting, driving and stopping as expected while on site for
photographs and a short video.
