This 2020 Indian FTR Rally has had just one
former keeper prior to the vendor and shows a mere 3,600 miles from new.
Supplied with a current V5C, it has been in the vendor’s hands since 2021 and
presents extremely well throughout.
Originally finished in Smoke Grey, the bike has
since been fitted with several tasteful upgrades, as clearly seen in the
photographs. These enhancements give the machine a more purposeful and
personalised look while remaining sympathetic to the FTR’s rugged aesthetic.
Importantly, the original parts are included, as pictured, offering the next
owner the option to return the bike to standard specification if desired — a
valuable addition for enthusiasts of modern Indian
motorcycles.
The
FTR Rally takes the muscular flat-track character of the standard FTR
and gives it a more rugged, road-friendly twist. Retaining the
charismatic 1,203cc V-twin, it adds wire-spoke wheels, a more upright riding
position, and subtle retro-rally styling cues. The result is a
machine that feels relaxed and versatile on real-world roads while still delivering
the punchy performance and distinctive attitude that defines the Indian FTR
family.
The FTR
line owes much of its identity to Indian’s dominance in American Flat Track,
where the factory team and its fearsome FTR750 secured multiple championships.
The road-going FTR models — including this Rally — channel the same racing DNA that
powered Indian to Big Twin Super Hooligan titles, blending flat-track geometry, muscular
V-twin character and a stance inspired
by the machines that reshaped modern American racing. This heritage gives the
FTR Rally a uniquely authentic feel among contemporary performance bikes, rooted
firmly in the spirit of Super Hooligan competition.
This example comes with the original
handbook, and a file of invoices. The bike starts readily, runs cleanly, and
appears to have been very lightly used in recent years.
With its low mileage, careful
ownership, desirable upgrades and the reassurance of all original parts
included, this is a particularly appealing FTR Rally that should reward its next
keeper with many enjoyable miles of characterful V-twin
motoring.
